All About Me
My vision as both a future animator/cartoonist and artist is to create art that comes to life and
brings happiness and intrigue to people of all ages. My dream of becoming an animator stems
from a childhood filled with long afternoons of afterschool cartoons and drawing comics during
class. My father inspired me to draw; his art style is a mixture of realistic and detailed characters
related to science fiction and fantasy themes. During my 6th or 7th grade school year, I made
collages and scrapbooks; at first, it was a diary, but after my mom read it, I decided to use
pictures and drawings instead of words so that way I could express my thoughts and I would
only know what they mean. So, I created scrapbooks every year filled with my drawings, photos,
receipts from purchases I really like, movie tickets, etc. I would draw characters in different
styles based on books, cartoons, movies, and video games. Most of the artwork I do now stems
from memories of my childhood that are about things that make me happy, so I thought about
trying to share that feeling with others and inspire the next artist or cartoons or anyone.
